There's nothing quite like a real Christmas tree, and now the battle is on as retailers offer up the best value deals for the cheapest trees this Christmas. Home Bargains, Aldi and Lidl all have trees for sale for under £20 this Christmas.
Lidl’s range of real Christmas trees has arrived in store with prices starting from £11.99 for their mini Christmas Tree in Hessian Sack.
Their British Pot-Grown Christmas Tree (£22.99) ranges from 90cm-120cm (that's between about three and four feet, in imperial, including its pot.
Their Medium British Christmas Tree (£16.99) ranges from 160cm-180cm (that's somewhere around a five to six footer in imperial measurements).
Lidl’s British Large Christmas Tree (£26.99) is their showstopper of a tree, available in sizes ranging from 190cm-210cm (6ft to about 7ft).

Nordman 160-180cm (five to six feet, or thereabouts) at £12.99, in store now.
Home Bargains has the cheapest of the mid-size trees, with itsAldi has Scottish-grown Nordman Fir Christmas trees in two sizes; medium (160-180cm, so 5-6ft) at £13.99 and large (190-210cm, 6-7ft) from £19.99.
Each tree has been grown in the UK and are sourced from a sustainable plantation in Scotland, where 2.5 trees are planted for every one that is cut down.
The Nordmann fir is one of the most popular Christmas tree varieties, due to how well it holds its needles indoors.
Given that similar trees will be upwards of £50 in many shops, stocks in Aldi, Lidl and Home Bargains are expected to go fast - so wherever you choose, be quick.
