THE sign up process has now opened for the 2025 edition of Relay For Life Ayrshire.

Taking place on Saturday, August 16, the event will once again be hosted by the Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock.

Participants will engage in a 24-hour relay, where teams take turns walking the track to symbolise the ongoing fight against cancer.

This is the event's second year, and it managed to raise £85,322.31 at its inaugural relay in 2024.

It will begin at 10am and last for 24 hours, with a Candle of Hope ceremony taking place from 8.30pm until 9.30pm.

Money raised at the event will be donated to Cancer Research UK to help fight the disease.
