AN 'IRISH star' has announced an Irvine date on her extensive UK tour.

'Renowned' artist Eleanor McEvoy, will perform at the Harbour Arts Centre on November 23.

Her song ‘A Woman’s Heart’, which is the title track of Ireland's best-ever selling album, recently featured in Derry Girls, further boosting its popularity.

She will offer a 30-year career-spanning set, including pieces from her latest works, 'South Anne Street' and 'Scarlet Angels'.

McEvoy's blend of folk, rock, and jazz has won her fans worldwide, with performances noted for their emotional depth and evocative lyrics.

With her 'soulful' voice, she delivers a fresh yet familiar experience to each venue.

The 21-date UK tour promises to showcase her artistry in intimate settings, highlighting her storytelling prowess and musical skill.

When not touring, McEvoy actively participates in Ireland's cultural scene.

In May 2017, she was elected as Chairman of IMRO, the Irish Music Rights Organisation, and more recently, she was appointed by the Irish Minister of Arts to a task force for the post-Covid recovery of the Irish music industry.
