CHEST, Heart and Stroke Scotland is looking for volunteer walk leaders in Ayr.
The charity is seeking people who would be interested in volunteering with its Ayr Health Walk.
The walk will take place every Monday at 1.30pm and last for around an hour. Commitment is just a couple of hours a week, and the charity provides training and lots of support.
Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland volunteer, Douglas, said: “Fresh air, a bit of weather, a bit of exercise, a bit of banter and a blether over a cup of tea in the cafe afterwards; well, who wouldn't?
"My service users [walkers] improve their quality of life with each walk and so do I.”
Volunteering with your local health walk is a great way to meet new people and keep active.
