A KILMARNOCK woman made an appearance on the popular daytime quiz show, Tipping Point.
Primary school teacher Alana appeared on an episode of the STV game show on Monday, October 21.
She got off to a flying start in the first round by buzzing in with the correct answer for multiple questions.
The first one she answered correctly was "The athletes Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and Steph Houghton are all famous names in which ball sport?”
After correctly answering football, she chose to play and put her counter in drop zone one, which unfortunately didn't produce any money.
In the same round, she also buzzed in to answer, “released in the UK in 2023, the film subtitled ‘The Last Wish’ features which feline from the Shrek films as the title character?”
This time she opted to play and chose drop zone one again, where she dropped eight counters and gained £400.
During the second round, she was chosen by the current frontrunner Duncan to answer questions first.
She managed to correctly answer three questions in 45 seconds, but was only able to add £50 to her overall total of £400.
However, she was narrowly knocked out after competitor Elizabeth overtook her and finished the round with £800.
Despite not making it through to the third round, Alana said: "Thank you so much I've had a lovely time."
The episode then went on to be won by fellow competitor Duncan.
