A loving man has raised over £2,000 for the Ayrshire Hospice in memory of his late wife. 

The charity's fundraising team recently met Tom Henderson, who set up a tribute page following the sad passing of his wife Nancy. in mid-May

With the support of friends and loved ones, Tom raised an incredible £2,050.02 in aid of the hospice's vital work.

Tom said: "Nancy Henderson was an amazing lady. Charity came easy to her. She gave to many worthy charities.

"Supporting veterans, travelled to Vietnam with Action Aid, giving freely of her time and supporting those in the community less fortunate.

"Even in passing she would be thrilled to know she was helping others in need at the Ayrshire Hospice."

A hospice spokesperson said: "Thank you Tom and everyone who donated to Nancy's tribute page for so kindly supporting the hospice in her memory."
