Police Scotland, along with partners representing East Ayrshire Council, SFRS and local elected members, got together to discuss local concerns and the planned activities for the summer.
There are days of action planned throughout with an overarching message discussed on how they collectively plan to keep people safe throughout the summer.
Chief Inspector Alison Wilson, East Ayrshire's area commander, said: “With this launch it highlights the strength of the existing partnership and I encourage members of the public to engage with my colleagues when we are out on patrol.
"Our officers will continue to keep those safe within our communities. I wish you a fantastic summer period, look out for one another and ensure to keep yourself safe".
