A popular online sweet retailer in Ayrshire has announced its closure from August. 

Sweet Tooth is a regular at gala days and other events throughout the region, alongside deliveries. 

The business has been running since early 2022, and has built up a loyal following of customers across the area.

The last stall that the business will be attending is the Patna gala day on July 27, before it closes the following month. 

A spokesperson said: "I have loved every minute of this and honestly the support from you guys has been absolute fantastic. I have no words to thank you all.

"Anyone that has orders in before then, do not worry, they will all be fulfilled and I will be sorting out stock in the upcoming weeks.

"It’s time to move on and do something I really love, which most of you know is cleaning, so going to put my focus into this and totally switch careers."
