A stunning superyacht worth around $70 million was spotted sailing along the Ayrshire coast on Tuesday.
Eos, owned by American billionaire Barry Diller, has been spotted in the area in recent days. and is a regular visitor to the region.
Eos, which was launched in 2006 from the yard of Lürssen Yachts in Germany, is nearly 93 metres long.
It can travel at a maximum speed of 16 knots - only slightly faster than the top speed of CalMac's Arran ferry, though admittedly those on board Eos may well find themselves cruising in slightly more luxurious surroundings than those travelling between Ardrossan and Brodick.
Eos can accommodate 16 guests with 21 crew, including two chefs, three engineers, nine deck crew, and captains and stewardesses.
Barry Diller is the creator of Fox Broadcasting and owner of IAC/Interactive group. He is estimated to have a net worth of $3.7 billion.
The vessel's journey up the Ayrshire coast was captured by keen photographers, including West Kilbride snappers Peter Ribbeck and Audrey Cumpsty.
