A luxury South Ayrshire estate is set to feature on TV once again this week.

Glenapp Castle, just south of Ballantrae, featured on the BBC's Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby series last year.

Viewers who missed it last year have another chance to see the episode as it airs on BBC2 at 8pm on Thursday, May 9.

The five-star retreat was the only UK hotel to feature in the series last year, which is presented by Monica Galetti and Rob Rinder.

The hotel's appearance on the programme saw guest numbers rise, with a big boost in international visitors.

The episode highlights the castle's extensive gardens, local woodland, and historic interior, with the celebrity pair also sent on a boating excursion to the Hebrides.
