The iconic Waverley paddle steamer is making good progress in dry dock ahead of her summer season, its operators have said.
The vessel arrived at Garvel dry dock in Greenock on Monday, April 8, and work has been ongoing since then to get her in shape for her new sailing season, which begins next month.
Work completed so far includes the washing of her hull, the cleaning of the engine room bilges ready for painting, repairs to a dining saloon window, and the removal of a damaged paddle board from the starboard paddle wheel.
In the coming days painting will become the main focus on both the hull and paddle wheels.
The Waverley's 2024 season begins on May 17 and includes cruises on the Clyde, the Inner Hebrides, Northern Ireland, south Wales, the Bristol Channel, north Wales and the Mersey, the south-west and south coasts of England, and London and the Thames estuary.
Tickets can be purchased for all sailings up to Sunday, August 25 online at waverleyexcursions.co.uk or by calling 0141 243 2224.
