A popular Kilmarnock curry house has been shortlisted among the best in the country.
Brown Munde, which opened in the former Paris Match venue last year, has been named as a finalist in the Scottish Curry Awards.
The restaurant will compete in the New Restaurant of the Year category alongside eateries from Cambuslang, Newton Mearns, Clarkston and Dundee.
The Indian is owned by Parveen Sharma, who also co-owns the popular 3idiots restaurants in Ayr and Troon.
The venue has an emphasis on Indian tapas, with Parveen previously revealing that he had been eyeing up an eatery in the town for several years.
He said: "Thank you to our team who have helped us build our business to where it is today and to our customers for supporting us."
