Arran has been named amongst some of Scotland's most 'Instagrammable' tourist destinations. 

A new study by Private Tours Scotland analysed Instagram data for 30 popular Scottish destinations, to uncover which have been tagged most on the platform.

It revealed that Edinburgh Castle is the most Instagrammable in Scotland, with its hashtag being used over 723,000 times. 

The Isle of Arran came in at eighth place on the list, with a total of 149,863 posts featuring the hashtag.

Other spots on the top ten list include Glencoe, Ben Nevis and Stirling Castle.
