FERRY operator Caledonian MacBrayne is reminding customers that aggression towards its staff is "never acceptable".
The company is urging passengers to treat vessel and port staff with respect, especially over the busy holiday period.
A spokesperson said: "Our frontline colleagues are the heart of our organisation – working hard to help customers have the best experience possible when travelling with us.
"This will be the case especially over the busy holiday period.
"Aggressive behaviour towards our colleagues is never acceptable and won’t be tolerated.
"To the minority who can sometimes forget this, please bear in mind that everyone at Caledonian MacBrayne has a crew at home too."
