A Kilmarnock restaurant is set to reopen following refurbishment - with a brand new name. 

The Urbanist, on London Road, closed on Monday, March 18 for a new look, and will reopen on Thursday in time for the Easter weekend. 

The popular eatery will now be known as Santino, with new food, wine and cocktail menus. 

A spokesperson said: "Thank you for your patience while our team prepares for an exciting new chapter at 14 London Road, Kilmarnock."
