A major paint retailer has opened its latest store in Kilmarnock.

The Paint Shed sells a wide range of trade paints, designer paints and accessories to both independent painters and decorators and retail consumers.

The Kilmarnock store is the company’s 21st store, and can be found in the Glencairn Industrial Estate.

The Kilmarnock store has had mixing machines installed from leading paint manufacturers including Dulux, Johnstone’s, Crown, Farrow & Ball, and Jotun.

Michael Rolland, managing director, said: “We had been looking for the right opportunity in Kilmarnock for a couple of years now and thankfully we have been able to secure a great site. 

“The store will be led by Barry Nunn and his team where we will have all the leading brands in the trade paint market under one roof.

"Johnstone’s, Dulux and Crown mixing machines will offer the local market a wide range and great value, alongside the renowned Paint Shed service. 

"We will also stock Osmo, Benjamin Moore, Little Greene and Zinsser Allcoat for both trade and retail customers.”
