A stunning aurora light show was captured in the skies across Ayrshire on Sunday night.
Also known as the northern lights, the skies were alight with pinks, greens and blues that danced for those on the ground.
Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by the solar wind, and can take many forms and colours.
