Stewarton Medical Practice has issued a message to patients as it experiences "unforeseen" staffing shortages.
The practice says that care will be prioritised for those who need it most, and patients should consider other options before phoning the practice.
A text message alert to patients sent out on Monday morning explained that the practice was experiencing reduced clinical staffing issues.
It said: "Care will be provided for those with the most urgent need. Please be patient with staff who are working tirelessly to continue delivering services.
"Please consider other options for healthcare advice before contacting the practice, keeping appointments for those most in need."
