Areas of Dean Castle Country Park are currently closed to the public following high winds during Storm Isha.

East Ayrshire Leisure has shared pictures of damage to paths and trees throughout the park this morning.

Winds of up to 65mph were recorded in East Ayrshire overnight, with more strong winds expected in the coming days.

An East Ayrshire Leisure spokesperson said: "Areas of Dean Castle Country Park are closed off due to storm damage.

"Please follow weather warnings and advice from the Met Office as further adverse weather is forecast."
