A month-long road closure for resurfacing works in Stewarton could mean a seven-mile diversion for drivers.
A temporary road closure will be in place on Cutstraw Road, from the roundabout heading east for around 120 metres.
Works commence on February 5, with the closure remaining in place until March 3.
The days and times of the works are dependent on weather conditions but the closure will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency services access and access for residents will be maintained, while deliveries will be via the diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Cutstraw Road, Clunch Road, A77, B778, Loudon Street, Kirkford, Cutstraw Road and vice versa.
