The Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine is offering 50 per cent off all tickets after school throughout January and February. 

The museum, which houses exhibits and interactive learning, can now be visited from 3:15pm to last admission on school days for half price, with kids going free.

Visitors can explore the Rat Trail, engage in interactive activities, and let the little ones discover joy in the children's play area.

Adults and kids alike can also treat themselves to an after-school snack at Puffer's Café Bistro.

All adults should be accompanied by a school aged child aged 5 to 16, who will have free admission as normal.
