A KILMARNOCK man has admitted making repeated bomb threats to a pub in town.
John Irvine pleaded guilty to one charge in relation to the incident when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court earlier this week.
The 60-year-old admitted communicating the information to The Standing Man on Portland Street from his home on Katrine Court in the Bellfield area of the town on June 4, 2022.
Court papers describe how he made a number of voice calls to another person, "with the intent of inducing them in to a false belief that a bomb or other thing liable to ignite or explode was present at the bar and at his home".
Sentencing was deferred following Irvine's guilty plea.
Irvine will now return to court at a later date and he was released on bail.
