Major roads through Stewarton are set to be closed later this month for the town's annual torchlight parade.
The popular event, where thousands walk through the town centre with torches, takes place from 7pm on Friday, December 29.
The parade will start from Torrance Garage on Old Mill Road and move down Main Street and Lainshaw Street before entering Lainshaw woods for fireworks and a bonfire.
A road closure will be in place from 5pm to 10pm, from David Dale Avenue to Standalane, from Standalane to Rigg/Vennel Street, and from Rigg/Vennel Street to Old Mill Road.
The road will be open outwith these times.
A no waiting at any time order will also be in place for the same time on the same roads.
The roads may be closed in phases as the procession continues along the road.
Vehicles engaged in the traffic management and emergency service vehicles are exempt from road closures and waiting restrictions.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period, and emergency services access will not be affected.
There will be delays and limited services for buses through the town due to no suitable diversion routes.
The diversion from the east is via Cutstraw Road, Cutsburn Brae, Robertland Rigg and Old Mill Road.
