Trains between Glasgow and Ayrshire have now resumed after an 'incident' on the line caused services to stop.
Emergency services were sent to Milliken Park at around 9am on Tuesday, with services to and from Largs, Ardrossan and Prestwick stopped.
Ticket acceptance on local bus services was put in place, and a train shuttle service was able to run between Kilwinning, Largs, Ardrossan and Prestwick a few hours later.
ScotRail says the line has now reopened and services have resumed, but trains will not be calling at Milliken Park station until further notice.
ℹ️ UPDATE: Glasgow Central to Prestwick Town/Ardrossan Harbour/Largs services are now running as scheduled but will be subject to delay, revision or cancellation whilst we focus on getting trains and crew back into position. ^Paulhttps://t.co/3FHRZVEWoe pic.twitter.com/L6MOtHEnjE
