Residents in East Ayrshire have just a few days remaining to have their say on the budget from the local authority.

East Ayrshire Council is inviting views from members of the public to help shape the next budget, with a £7 million funding gap to be plugged for 2024/25.

The public consultation ends later this week, where residents can share their views on issues such as poverty and community wellbeing.

A council spokesperson said: "With a £7 million funding gap in 2024/25, your input is crucial in making the best choices.

"Participate in our pubic consultation until December 15, and share your thoughts on priorities such as building a fairer economy, tackling poverty and inequality, improving community wellbeing and more.

"With only one in-person event remaining you can join our online forum and survey to make your voice heard. Let's create a brighter future together!"
