A weather warning lasting 27 hours has been issued across Ayrshire.
The Met Office yellow warning for rain starts at 6pm on Friday night and runs until 9pm on Saturday evening.
The weather organisation says bands of heavy rain will bring a risk of localised flooding and some travel disruption in the coming days.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Bands of heavy rain will move east across southwest Scotland through Friday night, turning more persistent on Saturday, before clearing during the evening.
"30-50 mm of rain falling widely, and possibly 60-80 mm over higher ground."
