ROADS bosses have revealed the details of work set to take place on roads across East and South Ayrshire over the next seven days.
The latest Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA) roadworks list covers the week beginning Monday, December 11.
The U13 Aiket Road in Dunlop will be closed from 8am to 6pm each day from December 11 to 15 to allow for site investigation works into a landslip.
Portable traffic lights will be in place on the Cleuch Bridge on the B743 at Sorn 24 hours, seven days this week due to repairs.
Traffic lights will also be in place on Kiloup Bridge on the B734 at Old Dailly from 8am to 4pm every weekday due to stonework repairs.
Give and take control will be in place in the Carmel Avenue area of Kilmarnock for lighting installation works, from 8am to 4pm every weekday.
In Ayr, Newton Esplanade will have temporary traffic lights every weekday from 8am to 5pm for carriageway and footway resurfacing works.
Also in Ayr, Lochside Road will be affected by temporary traffic lights every day from 8am to 4pm due to parking bay installation.
Station Bridge Road in the town remains closed 24/7 due to safety works at the fire-damaged Station Hotel building.
In Prestwick, the car park at the rear of Kidz Play remains closed from 8am to 5pm every day for resurfacing works.
Finally, in Cumnock, King's Drive will be closed every day until Friday from 8am to 5pm due to footway resurfacing.
ARA is responsible for all non trunk road repairs in both East and South Ayrshire and is a partnership between the councils for the two areas, set up in April 2014 with the aim of delivering roads and transport services more effectively and efficiently.
Trunk roads in the two areas - the A76, A77 and A78, as well as the M77 motorway - are the responsibility of Amey on behalf of the government's transport department, Transport Scotland.
