A Kilmarnock woman has been honoured with a top gong in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
Vikki Wilkins, UK Head of Customer Services for the PRA Group, has been named the winner in the Female Employee of the Year in the business category.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run.
Vikki leads the customer service for the global financial services company, and has transformed trainings and processes for addressing vulnerable populations within and outside of the PRA Group.
One example of her influence on the industry includes her work with Surviving Economic Abuse and Money Advice Plus, where she helped pilot the first Economic Abuse Evidence Form.
The form allows victims of coerced debt to receive quicker resolutions, thereby helping them on the path to financial recovery.
PRA Group Spokesperson, Elizabeth Kersey, said: “Customer care has always been a top priority for PRA Group, and Vikki has taken a hands-on approach to ensuring we continually improve and adapt to nuanced situations.
"Her efforts have transformed into expertise as she advocates for vulnerable populations and trains others in the industry.
"We offer her our gratitude and congratulations for being recognized internationally in the category of Female Employee of the Year.”
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on six juries.
The PRA Group is one of the nation’s largest buyers of debt accounts, and they work with customers to help them resolve their debt in an affordable way that works with their budget.
