An Ayrshire eatery will attempt to send deep-fried Mars Bars into space after teaming up with a popular Scottish influencer. 

Tempura, which has restaurants and takeaways in Ayr, Prestwick and Kilmarnock, has joined forced with online personality 'Dazza' for the unique challenge. 

The team at Tempura deep-fried the chocolate treats, before Dazza attempted to get them to space. 

The social media star will release a video on November 30, showcasing how the challenge went and if it was a success.

A Tempura spokesperson said: "This is absolutely epic. We teamed up with Dazza to try and send some tempura into space.

"Will it fly? Find out on 30th November."
