Proposals have been lodged for an exciting community facility in Newmilns.
The Newmilns Regeneration Association has lodged plans with East Ayrshire Council to replace a dilapidated shed at 2 Brown Street.
The community group wants to build a new flexible space known as 'The Tin Shed', which would include an accessible toilet and a store area.
The proposals also include the planned redevelopment of the adjacent car park which would provide electric charging.
The hall would suit different uses such as a community hall, studio space, community cafe and bike repair shop.
Several community consultations have been held with locals voting heavily in favour of the plans.
