An Ayrshire chippy has announced the return of its popular battered Christmas treats this festive season.
Gino's Fryer, in Tron Place, Largs, has won fans in recent years for its innovative battered pigs in blankets, Brussel sprouts and even mince pies.
Now the festive favourites are on their way back - with gluten free and vegan options available for each.
The battered pigs in blankets come in portions of eight or five, with the battered mini mince pies in portions of three.
Gino’s Fryer in Tron Place has been feeding hungry locals and visitors since 1982, and continues to innovate with its festive treats.
Owner Franca Sheridan said: “Our deep fried Christmas treats have seen phenomenal demand since we started them, and I’ve gone through kilos of pigs and blankets.
“They’re all selling including our new festive chicken burger and the deep fried sprouts, but the pigs in blankets are always the favourite.
“Not one person has tried them that doesn’t like them. They are not the healthiest, but it is Christmas!"
