An exciting new charity event is coming to Ayrshire's festive calendar later this month - with appearances from Santa, Elsa, alpacas and Kilmarnock firefighters.

The Crosshouse Children's Fund Christmas Fair at the Park Hotel in Kilmarnock is the perfect chance for families to indulge in some festive fun in aid of the charity.

For just a £3 donation, shoppers will be able to browse more than 50 retail stalls to pick up a find from a local Ayrshire business.

One of the fair's highlights includes an interactive experience with the Kilmarnock Community Fire Station's engine, were children can meet friendly firefighters and learn about fire safety.

Kilmarnock FC will also be there and are offering a lucky fan the chance to win a mascot experience at Rugby Park, donated by the club.

Kids will also enjoy a special visit from Elsa, the beloved Frozen princess, as well as a special encounter with some adorable alpacas.

The fair wouldn’t be complete without Santa's Grotto, where children can share their Christmas wishes with Father Christmas himself and write their own letters to the North Pole.

Most importantly, every adult entry - children under eight years old go free - will benefit other children who may have to spend this Christmas in the hospital Crosshouse Children’s Fund supports.

The charity works to ensure Ayrshire’s young patients and their families receive the best possible care.

Join the charity from 11am on November 19 for a day filled with wonder, giving, and holiday cheer.
