A missing man who was last seen at Crosshouse Hospital has been traced by police.
Iain Johnston, 51, was last seen at around 12pm on Saturday, October 14, when he was known to be leaving Crosshouse Hospital.
Iain, from the Dunlop area of East Ayrshire, was then seen getting on a bus towards Kilmarnock.
Police said at the time that they had concerns for his welfare, and they were keen for anyone who may have information to assist them to come forward.
Police have today (October 19) announced that Iain has been traced, and have thanked the public for their assistance.
Iain is described as around five feet and ten inches tall and of a heavy build.
When last seen, he was known to be wearing a black jacket, blue top, black trousers, dark trainers, and a green and dark coloured hat.
