Ayrshire Road Policing Officers issued 16 fines to drivers following complaints from members of the public.
Residents in Carrick had raised concerns about motorists speeding along Turnberry Road in Maidens, as well as on the A77 and in Girvan.
On Tuesday, October 3, officers visited the area and on Turnberry Road, seven motorists received warnings, with four being handed fixed penalty notices for speeding.
On the nearby A77, a further 12 fixed penalty notices were issued for various road traffic offences.
