- John, passed away peacefully at home in Middlesbrough, in the arms of his family, on 7th February, aged 82, most dear husband to Sheila, loving father to Alistair and Kirstie and father- in- law to Sam and Simon, proud brother to Mary and Nelson. A son of Greenock, a student of Greenock Academy, and a gentleman with a never ending capacity for love.
