HENDERSON With great sadness, Ian William Henderson ( 66 years), formerly of Darvel, passed away suddenly but peacefully, in Palmerston North Hospital, New Zealand on Monday 28th April 2014. Dearly loved husband and treasured best friend of Barbara (nee Connell) adored father of Fiona and Stephen and much loved Grandpa of Sophie and Jack. Loving son of the late Elizabeth and John Henderson and much loved brother and brother-in-law of Janet and Douglas Paton. Cherished brother-in-law to the Connell family, respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews and trusted friend of so many. Gone too soon. Till we meet again. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Ian's life on Saturday 25th April at Darvel Parish Church, Hastings Square, at 11 am.
