POLICE are appealing for the help of the public to trace 54-year-old William Barclay, who has been reported missing from Newmilns.

William was reported missing on Saturday, September 28, and was last seen on Monday, August 26.

Police say William may have travelled by bus to the Oban, Fort William or Mallaig areas. He is described as being 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build, with short grey hair.

Anyone who may have seen William is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1035 of 28 September, 2024.
