A MAN was rushed to hospital following a late-night fall from a roof in Kilmarnock.

Emergency services, including specialist height equipment, raced to the King Street shopping area just after 9pm on Saturday night.

A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital for his injuries, and enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15pm on Saturday, September 28, officers received a report of a man having been injured after falling from a roof on King Street, Kilmarnock.

“The 49-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing."
