Two Ayrshire hospitality firms have been nominated for the same national award. 

Buzzworks and Manorview Hotels have been shortlisted in the Hospitality Health Employer of the Year category at the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards.

Popular restaurant operator Buzzworks has 12 venues across Ayrshire, in locations including Kilmarnock, Kilwinning, Stewarton, Troon, Ayr and Prestwick. 

Manorview Hotels operates one venue in the region, the Brisbane House Hotel in Largs. 

A host of other Ayrshire businesses are up for awards on the night, in categories including Dog Friendly Pub of the Year and New Bar of the Year.

All the Ayrshire businesses will find out the results at a glittering ceremony on August 27.
