Businesses across Ayrshire are being given the chance to get into the swing of networking at one of the world’s best-loved golf clubs.

Home to four Open Championships, Trump Turnberry holds a special place in the hearts of many golf fans.

It has entertained a host of famous visitors and next month, businesses can experience its atmosphere for themselves at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce’s Nine & Dine Golf Day.

Ayrshire Chamber CEO Claire Baird said: “It’s often said the best networking is done on the golf course so we’re thrilled to give businesses the chance to forge new connections and strengthen existing relationships at one of the world’s best-loved golf clubs.

“Attendees will take on the nine-hole Arran course which has all the challenges that the club’s world famous Ailsa and King Robert the Bruce courses have to offer, such as undulating greens, tight tee shots, pot bunkers and thick rough.

“The holes are an exciting mixture of par threes and fours, which are aimed at every standard of golfer, from the novice to the advanced player.

“We will round off the afternoon in the Ailsa Craig Suite for presentations and lunch.

“It should be a very special occasion and we’d urge businesses to book their places quickly to ensure they can secure a place.”

Individuals will be allocated to teams of four. Players will have access to the clubhouse throughout the day, giving them an opportunity to freshen up after the golf, and will also be able to make use of the practice areas.

The event will take place from 11.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday, September 4, at Trump Turnberry and it is open to all businesses.

Chamber members benefit from a discounted booking rate.
