An Ayr road is set for two weeks of daytime closures for carriageway resurfacing works.
The C39 Doonholm Road will be closed every day between 8am and 5pm, from July 29 to August 12.
The road is expected to be open outwith these times, and working will depend on the weather conditions.
Emergency services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ outwith the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via The Loaning, A79 Maybole Road, Ewenfield Road, B7024 Monument Road, B7024 Alloway and vice versa.
