Plans have been lodged for a new major housing development in Crosshouse.
Dawn Homes has submitted proposals to East Ayrshire Council for a 29-property development, consisting of detached and semi-detached houses.
The site would sit in a field to the east of Holm Farm, near the western boundary of the town.
A previous development for 39 homes on the site was rejected by the council and by the Scottish Government last year.
Dawn Homes says it has taken on board feedback relating to the relationship of the development with surrounding properties, road safety, and the proposed treatment of open spaces in the development.
The development would have a mixture of three and four bedroom homes, named as Askernish, Musselburgh, Mortonhall, Luffness, Brora, Dundonald, Dumbarnie and Kingsbarns.
Full details of the proposal can be found on East Ayrshire Council's planning portal.
