ROADS bosses have announced details of planned roadworks for this coming week in East and South Ayrshire.

Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA) carries out road management work on behalf of East and South Ayrshire Council.

Starting on Monday, June 10, ARA is undertaking key works across the region, including in Girvan, Kilmarnock, Patna and Ayr.

There will be give and take traffic control on the C107 at Mossblown for parapet repairs on June 13, 14 and 17 between 8am and 4pm.

Traffic lights will be in place on the C11 at Kirkmichael from 8am to 4om every weekday.

On Rowan Road in Girvan, give and take control will be in place every day between 8am and 5pm for road lighting replacement.

In Ayr, give and take control will be in place on Belmont, Morton Road, Morton Avenue, Chalmers Avenue and Meadowpark between 8am and 5pm every day.

In Kilmarnock, there will be give and take control in the Gilmour Street area every day from 8am to 5pm.

Also in Kilmarnock, the A71 from North Ayrshire to Moorfield will be closed on Saturday for grass cutting, and from Moorfield to Bellfield on Sunday.

From Dalharco Avenue to Doonbank Crescent in Patna, there will be traffic lights on each day except Sunday between 8am and 5pm for footway resurfacing.

In Stewarton, Cutsburn Brae/Road will be closed from 8am to 6pm every day for carriageway resurfacing.
