East and North Ayrshire's Police Scotland Volunteers (PSYV) were on duty at the annual Dunlop Gala on Saturday.

Organisers provided great feedback for their efforts, which helped to support the popular village event with thousands turning out for rides, stalls, hot food and more.

The PSYV consists of young people aged between 13 and 17, who each give up their time to volunteer in their communities supporting local and national events.

To become a Youth Volunteer, you must be aged between 13 and 15, and be able to dedicate a minimum of three hours per month for volunteering events.
