Ayrshire businesses are celebrating after taking home gongs at the 2nd Aesthetic Excellence Awards Scotland 2024.

The awards aim showcase the extraordinary talent who are dedicated to advancing the field of aesthetics in Scotland. 

This year’s awards were an online campaign with the winners being announced on the March 17.

Steph Worsley, from SW Aesthetics in Irvine, took home the award for Aesthetic Practitioner of the Year, as well as Clinic Team of the Year. 

She said: "The awards were virtual this year so we couldn't attend in person however this is absolutely fantastic!

"The aesthetic awards have the best of the best in every category so to be a finalist is an achievement in itself but to win actually blows my mind.

"Thank you to each person who walks through the clinic doors. We appreciate every single one of you."

Best Cosmetic Dentistry Practice went to Kilmarnock Smile Studio, with Aesthetics by Aran at Cosmetic Dentist in Prestwick being Highly Commended in the category.

Dr Amir Nazim from Aesthetic Dentistry in Prestwick was named as Aesthetic Dentist of the Year.

Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year went to Jo Dee Gault Permanent Cosmetics & Aesthetics from Ayr.

She said: "Thank you to each and every one who took the time to nominate & vote! Can’t thank you guys enough.

"After all the graft over the last year in the new clinic it was worth it. So thank you for making my dreams come true."

Skin Clinic of the Year was won by Nic's Beauty from Kilmarnock, who thanked their customers for their support.

They said: "Can’t believe I won at the Aesthetic Excellence Awards Scotland tonight.

"Unfortunately the awards were changed to an online event but I’m still so grateful to even be in the finals never mind a winner."

Skin Therapist of the Year was won by MW Skin Studio in Kilmarnock, with Skin by Ella in Ayr being Highly Commended.
