The programme and attractions map for the highly anticipated Kilmarnock Christmas Festival has been revealed.

East Ayrshire Leisure is getting the town in the Christmas spirit on Sunday November 26 between 2pm and 7pm, with festive fun for all the family.

Some of Ayrshire's finest local talent will perform across multiple stages, and there is even a Christmas karaoke stage for wannabee singers.

Ayrshire Today:

Performances will come from the likes of The Pines, The Rampants and The Strikes, with music also coming from local academy choirs and bands.

The Christmas light switch on will take place at 4.55pm, and Santa's sleigh will be on King Street from 6.15pm.

Market stalls will be selling a range of festive treats and gifts and you can sit around the Christmas tree and enjoy some tasty snacks from the food court.

Ayrshire Today:

There will be street entertainment, free kids activities and face painting as well as carnival stalls, a bungee trampoline and climbing wall.

Kilmarnock FC players will be making an appearance on the day, as will Santa himself.
