The highly anticipated Kilmarnock Christmas Festival is just one week away. 

East Ayrshire Leisure is hosting the event in the town centre on Sunday, November 26 from 2pm to 7pm. 

Some of Ayrshire's finest local talent will perform on multiple stages on the day, and there will even be a Christmas karaoke stage for some festive hits.

Market stalls will be selling a range of festive treats and gifts and visitors can sit around the Christmas tree and enjoy some tasty snacks from the food court.

There will be street entertainment, free kids activities and face painting as well as carnival stalls, a bungee trampoline and climbing wall.

Kilmarnock FC players will be making an appearance on the day as will Santa himself.

Panto sponsors, Stewart Travel, will announce the winner of their Jack and the Beanstalk competition where the lucky winner will get £2,000 towards their next holiday.

If guests arrive early enough they can enter on the day or online.

Visitors will also get the get the opportunity to enter their Lapland competition by placing their entry on the Stewart Travel Christmas wish tree.

Santa will be in store from 2pm till 4pm and sweet treats, drinks and nibbles will be on offer.
